Organization Profiles

There are a great number of organizations across the city working to improve the community's health, but thus far, there has been no central place to find them and seek out their current initiatives. This space has been created so that organizations can explain what they do, who they work with, promote any unique projects that they may currently be working on and how residents who are interested in becoming involved can volunteer on any current efforts.

Are you working on a walkability initiative? Is there a zoning policy that you're recruiting people to assist with? Have you been involved in an effort to increase access to healthy, affordable foods in your neighborhood? Will you be gathering a team to paint murals inspiring hope? Dr. David Williams of Harvard University has said that, "Everything that we can do to improve the quality of life of individuals in our society has an impact on their health and is a health policy."
