Upham's Corner Health Center through support from the BPHC is working with community residents to address:
- support civic engagement in the VIP Communities
- facilitate participation of youth in OST and employment opportunities.
- reduce physical disorder that contributes to crime
- implement community responses to violence
- provide healthy living referrals and services to all VIP neighborhoods.
Focusing on a designated area in the Upham's Corner, the VIP is looking for residents who want to be actively involved in the improvement of their community, street by street, block by block.

5 Streets Improvement Meetings - 1st Thursday of every month at the Upham's Corner Health Center located at 415 Columbia Rd., Dorchester, Ma
Hancock St. Crime Watch -- 3rd Thursdays of every month at the Bird Street Community Center located at 500 Columbia Rd., Dorchester, Ma
Safe Neighborhood Initiative -- 4th Tuesday of every month City School Dorchester
