The Membership and Nominations Committee is in charge of outreach, recruitment, member training and orientation, and member satisfaction and retention. This committee will also lead the nominations process to recommend new members to Planning Council.
The committee has designated mentors that sit on the SPEC and NRAC committee. Mentors connect with members who would like help understanding content and who want to improve and enrich their experience on Planning Council.
Members from this committee will attend many events in the community, including Pride, World AIDS Day, and National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, among others. Members will represent Planning Council and help recruit new members.
Membership and Nominations Committee meetings take place monthly following the Executive Committee meeting from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm at the Old South Church, 645 Boylston Street, 4th Floor, Boston MA 02116.
