The Boston Eligible Metropolitan Area (EMA) HIV Health Services Plannin
g Council is currently accepting applications for the 2017-2019​ term. 

If you would still like to participate on the Planning Council, or for more information, please call (617) 534-2462 or (617) 534-2648 send an email to​.

Responsibilities of Boston Planning Council Members:

  • Make decisions about federal HIV/AIDS funding in our Boston EMA region
  • Commit to 4 hours per month to attend 2 meetings in Boston:
    • the Planning Council meeting​
    • a Committee meeting of your choice
  • Be engaged and actively participate in meetings and Committee work

Benefits for all Planning Council Members:

  • Network with other consumers and providers
  • Learn about the latest HIV data & policy issues impacting services for people living with HIV
  • Share your personal and/or professional experience

Additional Benefits for Consumer Members of the Planning Council (people living with HIV/AIDS):

  • Get reimbursed for travel and child care expenses related to Planning Council meetings (if eligible)
