The Boston Public Health Commission and the Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance are proud to announce the launch of the 1010 Mass Ave Farmstand.  Located in the parking lot at the corner of Massachusetts Avenue and Magazine Street in the Newmarket Square area, Boston's newest farmstand serves up fresh, locally-grown produce each Friday from 11:30am - 2pm from July 11th through October 24th.

For sale at the market will be a variety of vegetables, fruits, flowers, and herbs grown at Serving Ourselves Farm. The 4-acre organic farm, which includes 2.5 acres of vegetables and herbs, as well as fruit trees, laying hens, and an apiary, is located on Long Island on Boston Harbor.  Check out this video to learn more about the role that Serving Our Selves farm plays in nourishing client workers and guests at Long Island Shelter.

Along with 20 other farmers markets throughout Boston, the 1010 Mass Ave Farmstand is part of the Boston Bounty Bucks Program, providing customers who pay with their EBT with a dollar-for-dollar match of up to $10.   Customers can also pay with cash, credit, debit, or with WIC Farmers Market Coupons.

Be sure to visit the farmstand on Fridays from 11:30am-2pm
 throughout the summer and fall!
