Healthy Boston Speaker Series

What We Do

The Division of Chronic Disease Prevention and Control strives to support the health and wellness of Bostonians through healthy eating patterns, physical activity, and chronic disease prevention.

The purpose of the Healthy Boston Speakers Series (HBSS) is to offer health education presentations that community organizations, partners, and internal programs can request.

HBSS currently has presentations on healthy eating and dietary guidelines. We will soon offer presentations on sugar sweetened beverages, reducing salt intake, and chronic disease management. We hope to grow the topics of presentations offered and to expand access by offering presentations in multiple languages.
