We would love to schedule a staff Narcan training and a resident Narcan Training. Since we have quite a few new staff, we would like to train them as soon as possible and follow up with training the residents. We are hopeful we can schedule a training in November.

The Future Protectors Initiative program allows at risk youth that are 2 years away from graduating high school, explore careers in law enforcement, EMS, firefighting, law and government. They are taking college level classes to get credits in these fields and also placed in internships. I think that this would be a great opportunity to learn and be trained on something they will very much deal with in these professions.

In hospital, we use IM narcan, but I think it would also be beneficial for staff to become familiar with intra-nasal administration.
