Guidance Materials for Government Agencies:
Influenza (“the flu”) is a contagious illness caused by the influenza virus. Symptoms can range from mild to severe and include fever, cough, muscle aches, headache, and general weakness. The city of Boston is currently preparing for both seasonal flu and H1N1 flu (swine flu) during the 2009-2010 flu season. Government agencies have an important role to play in limiting the spread of transmission. On this page you will find tools to assist you in your planning. We hope you will use these resources and become an active participant in the City’s integrated flu plan
