Boston Influenza Preparedness Summit
August 21, 2009
Mayor Thomas M. Menino convened more than 450 representatives from all sectors of the city for a half-day summit at the Joseph B. Martin Conference Center at Harvard Medical School. The goal of the summit was to agree upon a series of flu prevention and containment strategies that will form the basis for a coordinated and integrated response to the threat of and/or outbreak of H1N1 influenza in Boston.
