 Flu Clinics Calendar

Interested in getting a free flu shot this year?
Below are the dates for public flu clinics scheduled in the city of Boston.  All clinics are free and open to the public.  Also, if you are under the age of 18, be sure to come with a parent or guardian who can consent.

Coming to a clinic and don’t have a primary care provider?
That’s ok.  You don’t need to be a patient of the health center to receive the flu vaccine at these clinics.  If you would like help finding a doctor, contact  the Mayor’s Health Line at 1-800-847-0710 to get connected to care.

Volunteer opportunities at Boston flu clinics:

Vaccine Prep and Delivery Team

This team will be made up of clinical providers who can administer or draw the seasonal influenza vaccine. Members of this group must be current practicing providers in Massachusetts and be clinically qualified to draw and/or administer vaccine. Training will be provided on clinical procedures including both the live and inactive vaccines, but those administering should be comfortable vaccinating both pediatric and adult populations.

Clinic Support Team

This group will provide much needed support to ensure clinic operations run smoothly and effectively.  Volunteers will handle registration, clinic flow, supply management, and will work with clinical and patient tracking staff to ensure all aspects of the clinic are in synch.  Volunteers interested in joining this team are recommended to have completed the Managing a Mass Dispensing Clinic training or have worked or volunteered in a prior flu clinic.  Volunteers that speak multiple languages are particularly helpful.  Volunteers do not need to have a clinical background to join this team.  Retired and out of state providers are also welcome on this team.
