About the Oral Health in Early Childhood Initiative

In response to the new toothbrushing regulation in childcare settings, the Office of Oral Health implemented the Oral Health in Early Childhood initiative to provide support and technical assistance to childcare providers to implement the new toothbrush regulation that requires childcare providers to assist children in brushing their teeth if the child is in their care for more than 4 hours per day or if the child eats a meal while in their care. Trainings are provided in English and Spanish. To request a training please fill out the request form.

New Regulation on Tooth Brushing at Child Care Settings
