Founded in 1991, Grove Hall’s Project RIGHT is the lead agency working with the Boston Public Health Commission’s VIP initiative in Grove HAll. The mission of Project RIGHT, Inc. (PRI), is to empower neighborhood residents and youth by building the capacity of individual, resident-based organizations (leadership development) and supporting their organizing and civic activities. PRI was also instrumental in leading the community design processes for such projects as the construction of the Lilla G. Frederick Pilot Middle School, the renovation of the Jeremiah E. Burke High School/ Grove Hall Community Center/ and relocation of the Grove Hall Library Branch. The Grove Hall VIP coalition meetings are held on the last Wednesday of the month at 6pm at the Lilla Frederick Pilot Middle School (270 Columbia Road). The VIP targeted Resident Association meetings are held on first Thursdays of the month at 6:30 pm at Project RIGHT, Inc. (320 A Blue Hill Avenue).
