Health of Boston Report

​​Since 1996, the Health of Boston Report has been commissioned annually to provide information about the health of Boston residents. The purpose of this report is to provide descriptive information about the health status, and factors that influence the health status, of Boston residents.

HEALTH OF BOSTON 2012-2013
HOB 2012-13 LogoThe Health of Boston 2012-2013 report focuses on Boston’s neighborhoods and its residents. It provides a review of select health conditions, risk behaviors, and social determinants of health and presents a broad picture of health in our city. This report identifies communities and groups of individuals at greatest risk for certain conditions. It does not attempt to identify causality or make recommendations; instead, it provides information needed to stimulate dialogue among individuals and within communities.
