Since 1996, the Health of Boston reports have been commissioned to provide information about the health of Boston residents. The purpose of these reports is to provide descriptive information about the health status and factors that influence the health of Boston residents.
HEALTH OF BOSTON 2014-2015
The Health of Boston 2014-2015 provides data on the health status of Boston residents.
What percentage of Boston residents are obese? What is the teen pregnancy rate? What is the life expectancy of a Boston resident? These data and much more are presented in this report. The purpose of the report is to provide a broad picture of the overall health experience of our city, describe many of the contextual factors that influence the health of Boston residents, and identify groups of individuals and communities at greatest risk for poor health outcomes.
