Multicultural Workshops Series:
Eliminating Anti-racism/Anti-discrimination Practices

Through the Disparities Project, the Boston Public Health Commission has secured the services of VISIONS, a multicultural consulting organization, to conduct free specialized educational workshops for community members, representatives of neighborhood organizations, policy and decision makers. These workshops will focus on the persistence and impact of discrimination and racism, highlight positive steps that can be taken to reduce them and raise awareness among the general public about health disparities. Health care concerns will be a major component of the trainings but they will also address other societal factors.
