Summer Enrichment Program
This enrichment program is for serious applicants interested in pursuing a health profession. Students attend courses in math, the sciences, language arts, and a variety of electives, ranging from such activities as Capoeira, African Drumming and Dancing, Yoga, to introductory courses in Midwifery, Nursing, and Complimentary Medicine, at the BU School of Medicine and on our main campus. Students also participate in an internship, shadowing health professions in a variety of settings, including area hospitals, community health centers, and service organizations, or participate in public health projects.
For:
Students living in Boston and presently in grades 8 - 11
When is it:
June 30th through August 14th, 2008
Attendance is mandatory for all 7 weeks.
Cost:
None (Participants may be eligible for a stipend.)
Hours:
8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Mon – Fri
Deadline:
On or before March 31st, 2008
Middle School and MYHP programs still accepting applications until April 25

Instructions for Completing Application:
- Print out the entire application which includes the application checklist
and all materials.
- Complete all sections of the application and gather all the necessary documents.
- Submit the completed application with all documents to BAHEC by mail or in person by one of the methods listed below.
NOTE: Applications will be reviewed for acceptance
only after all of the required information and documents has been submitted
to BAHEC.
