2008 01-23 Johnson Receives Pinnacle Award
BOSTON - Dr. Paula Johnson, chairperson of the Boston Public Health Commission's Board of Health, was honored this week with the Pinnacle Award. One of eight honorees, the award recognizes the accomplishments of women in Greater Boston who have achieved excellence in business and management.

Johnson is the chief of Women's Health and founded the Center for Cardiovascular Disease in Women at Brigham & Women's Hospital. She also serves as executive director of the institution's Connors Center for Women's Health and Gender Biology. Under Johnson's guidance, this innovative,
interdisciplinary program seeks to transform the health of women around the world, integrating leading-edge research into the delivery of care, health policy, and training for the next generation of leadership in women's health. Johnson is a graduate of Harvard-Radcliffe and the Harvard Medical School.
