The Boston Public Health Commission, in partnership with several local nonprofit organizations, will hold a series of community meetings on the health status of youth, seniors, and men in Boston on Dec. 9th and 10th. Participants will learn about the latest findings of the Commission’s Health of Boston report and what key concerns are affecting each of the three demographic groups. They will also have the opportunity to discuss the impact of unemployment, foreclosure, and racism on health and share ideas about how communities can work together to prevent disease, improve individual health, and build healthy neighborhoods.
